Greetings to all! Given the ongoing collaboration with our company’s international clientele and upcoming factory visits, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked mold questions (FAQs). Drawing upon collective experiences, we’ve summarized common inquiries posed by clients and various customers.

What type of molds can you produce

We mainly produce plastic injection moulding and composite compression moulding molds.

What type of injection molding machine is suitable for your plastic injection mold

Our moulds are suitable for Horizontal,Vertical and Desktop Injection Molding Machine.

How long is your mold lead time

Our mould lead time varies from 15 days to 60 days, depending on different molds

What mold steel do you generally use

S50C/ P20H/718/H13/S136 etc.Different mold steel has different mold life, of course, the price is also different,mainly according to customer requirements.

What software do you use for mold design, CNC programming? What formats are commonly used for graphics data exchange

3D mold design application software: Pro Engineer; UG; Solidwork
2D mold design application software: AutoCad;
CNC programming software: Maslercam UG
CNC program software:UG
Common formats for graphic data exchange: 3D: Igs, stp, x. t, prt ; 2D: dwg, dxf

What is your terms of payment

50% T/T first payment + 50% T/T at samples confirmation , before shipment.

How about the packages, inspection and delivery after finishing the mold

1. Packaged of mold:We will paint the mold outside surface with anti-rust grease and then pack it with three layers of PE bags: finally, we pack the outside box with wooden crate. In addition, if the mold is large, we will still fasten the mold with iron frame.

2. Accessories of mold: electfades and some spare part.

3. Files:The necessary documents for delivery are 3D and 2D drawings and trial mold video.

4. Inspection:
(1). All the parts should clean clear before assembly;
(2). Checking all the parts’ appearance to see whether they have been damaged or not;
(3). After that, then assemble the mold and test cooling line;
(4). Do the mold trial in the plastic injection machine;
(5). Painting the anti-rust grease oil and packing;

5. Shipping:We usually deliver the mold and inserts by ship or air, sometimes by express.

How many cavities have you made before

64 cavities,but we do 32 cavities more than 64 cavities.

How about your production capability? What is the maximum dimension of your mold and product?

The maximum mold dimension is 2.5 multiply 2.0 meters, and the maximum product dimension is 1.8 multiply 1.5 meters.

If the sample delivery time need to change ,what should you do? And how many sample products will you send us

We will supply the weekly mold process report to the customer and we will also let him know well about the problems appearing at the processing course. We usually offer five to fifteen pieces of free samples to the customer at the first mold trial. of course sometimes it should depend on the sample’s dimension.
